5 reasons to love Ageless Grace movement to music program
I’ve always loved moving to music – as much as I love laughing out loud.
Just as doing Laughter Yoga doesn’t make me a comedian, enjoying movement to music doesn’t make me a dancer.

Moving to music brings me JOY—and that is something I’ve sought to help facilitate in others’ lives, through my work with The Happydemic.
In February 2025, I gained certification as an Ageless Grace educator (instructor) and after a number of practice runs, I have my first 6-week term of community classes starting in May.
Let me tell you about Ageless Grace.
What is Ageless Grace?
Ageless Grace is a movement practice that mix and matches 21 tools developed using the science of neuroplasticity to get neurons firing—and it’s all done seated.
It’s a brain health fitness program that keeps participants moving and thinking through the power of play.
Ageless Grace addresses the five primary functions of the brain while also working the body through movement. And this is all done to music.
5 reasons to love Ageless Grace

Let me share 5 reasons I reckon Ageless Grace deserves to be embraced.
- All classes are done seated. This makes the exercises accessible to ALL bodies. Yet there’s more to it than that. Don’t think doing a seated exercise class is going to be easy…
- The brain LOVES novelty. With 21 tools to mix and match with endless music, there’s no chance of this activity being ‘boring’.
- Doing something you’ve never done before creates new neurons and new connections. The brain ‘wakes’ up to challenges and complexity.
- Imaginative play stimulates the brain. Ageless Grace can be very playful.
- Music conjures up memories and sparks emotions.
Put those 5 reasons together, add a group of people to make it social, and some laughter because this is fun—maybe even an impromptu sing-a-long to a fav tune—and, yes, you’ve cottoned on to why this practice has won me over.
Wellness shouldn’t be boring or painful. It ought to be fun!!!
My first community term starts on Thursday 8 May 2025. If you’d like to find out more about those classes, pop over to this Humanitix link.
